Pera is able to measure the surface temperature of the rock and inside it, thanks to sensors placed at different depths.
Unlike the air temperature, on sunny days, the temperature of the rock can rise by many degrees above the daily average, because the rock heats up much more easily than the air.

Attention! The temperatures displayed are those measured on the surface and inside the rock, not those of the air!
On sunny days, it is common for the temperature of the rock to reach high temperatures, due to the different characteristics of heat conduction.
